The FRD film carriage with Mechanical Brake is manually adjusted and features an indicator that shows the tension setting. It also includes a tension on/off lever, which allows the film to be released and fixed to the pallet without altering the set tension. This system ensures that tension remains constant, regardless of the film roll size.

FRD Carriage – Carriage with mechanical brake on return rollers: constant film elongation regardless of roll diameter. Quick brake connect/disconnect device for easy film hooking at the pallet base. The brake acts on the rubber roller to regulate wrapping tension. Additional metal rollers are positioned to ensure a better “wrap” of the film around the brake roller.

FR Carriage – The FR carriage is equipped with a film stretching device operated by an electromechanical brake; it can be controlled from the control panel. Brake activation is time-delayed to ease film hooking at the pallet base. If desired, brake control can be programmed via PLC or from the panel. (with QLS “QUICK LOAD SYSTEM” for fast film loading).

PDS Carriage (Master 110 only) – Film carriage with dual pre-stretch system, activated via the control panel. It offers fixed pre-stretch at 250%, and by pressing the “Stretch Control” button, it automatically switches to variable pre-stretch by engaging the electromagnetic friction on the first pre-stretch roller. (with QLS “QUICK LOAD SYSTEM” for fast film loading).
